LAKEVIEW, N.Y. (PIX11) — A gentleman was caught on camera on Xmas Eve snatching someone’s little pet from the sidewalk on Long Island, in accordance to police. Authorities in Nassau County reported it transpired about 1 p.m. on December 24 in front of a row of shops in Lakeview.

Surveillance video clip exhibits the unknown gentleman, who was driving a black BMW SUV, park his car and technique the Pomeranian blend pet dog, which was on a leash and secured outdoors of the organization, authorities said.

The suspect picked up the canine, walked off with it, and then was found on the video clip putting the pet inside his vehicle. The male then drove off with the stolen pup, heading north. Police described the dognapper as a guy standing about 5 ft, 9 inches tall, previous noticed wearing beige pants, a beige colored sweater, a puffy beige vest, and a Yankees baseball cap with a lengthy black braid.
