The NYPD arrested a suspect Wednesday, Dec. 29 in the deadly stabbing of a Jamaica male at Rufus King Park.
Detectives tracked Raymond Kenner, 22, to The Walcott Resort in Manhattan, a shelter for the homeless transitioning from jail, and charged him with murder and felony possession of a weapon in the killing of 29-year-previous Benjamin Vasquez Bulux on the night of Dec. 23.
Police from the 103rd Precinct responded to a 911 connect with of a male shot at the intersection of 89th Avenue and 150th Avenue at the northeast corner of Rufus King Park.
On arrival, officers found Bulux with numerous wounds to the back again and torso.
EMS responded to the crime scene and decided that the wounds had been stab wounds. Paramedics transported the victim to Jamaica Clinic Medical Heart, exactly where he was later on pronounced useless.
The investigation is ongoing.
