Hudson Falls duo allegedly used counterfeit money to buy TVs

QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (News10) — Two men and women from Hudson Falls have been arrested right after they allegedly used counterfeit dollars to purchase televisions. The New York Condition Law enforcement reported Desirea LaRock, 21, and Carl E. LaRock, 20, were being arrested immediately after two investigations involving counterfeit forex.

On December 27, police responded to the Walmart on Quaker Ridge Street in Queensbury to a report of two people who had applied counterfeit $100 charges to order a established of televisions. The pair remaining the scene just before law enforcement arrived.

On December 28, law enforcement had been contacted by Glens Slide Countrywide Bank in Queensbury immediately after a men entered the financial institution and claimed that a further branch experienced offered him counterfeit $100 dollar charges right after he had cashed a examine.
