Danvers Public Schools superintendent goes on medical leave

Danvers Public Educational institutions Superintendent Lisa Dana has taken a medical leave of absence.

The Danvers School Committee on Thursday appointed two individuals who will provide as acting superintendents.

Faculty officers say this leave of absence is not relevant to a sequence of troubling incidents that have been claimed inside the school district.

In a single incident, a member of the Danvers Substantial Faculty wrestling crew allegedly utilised racist language, which led to a struggle with an additional college student.

The substantial school’s hockey group was also publicly accused of collaborating in racist and homophobic hazing incidents last 12 months.
