Albany man arrested on drug possession charges

ALBANY, N.Y. (Information10) – According to the Albany County Sheriff’s Business, an Albany male was arrested on felony drug possession charges in Albany.

On Monday, December 27, Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a targeted traffic stop in Albany on a Honda Accord. Through the visitors cease, it was determined that the operator, James Simmons, 53, of Albany, was functioning his car or truck with a suspended New York Point out Driver’s License.

Additional investigation unveiled that Simmons was observed to be in possession of crack-cocaine and was taken into custody.
